"You don't have to spend a million bucks to make it look like you did."

- Paula Chamblin Aulino -

Growing up in a family-owned furniture business, Paula has been designing stylish spaces her whole life.   "I lend my sense of style and design aesthetics to your vision for creating a space you want to live in...entertain family and friends...love."

Paula uses layers of color and texture to create a "collected over time" feel with modern sensibility.  "I listen to what you want because I eventually leave.  You live in the space."

Paul Wayne Chamblin, owner of Chamblin Furniture, with daughter Paula Chamblin Aulino

As a designer, Paula is known for her unique ability to mix high and low pieces to create stylish spaces.  "You don't have to spend a million bucks to make it look like you did."

With over 15 years of interior design experience, Paula has developed a strong network of resources — from the best tradesmen and women to bespoke furniture benchmade in America.  Inspired by her worldwide travels, she brings resources to her clients unlike many other designers.  "I am constantly on the hunt for cool, special pieces that make my clients' homes distinctive."

Paula prides herself in the fact that she creates spaces for the individual client not a "one size fits all" cookie cutter formula...with one exception:  Every home needs a touch of animal print.  "My favorite color is animal print."  She believes that thoughtful interior design means great attention to detail.  "It's the details that matter — art, accessories, unique bits that create personality in a space."

Paula's clients become her friends; she values her clients and the trust they place in her.

"Interior design is a very personal business.

You see how another person lives.

I am honored to be trusted by my clients."

You don't have to lose your style to work with a designer.  Ideally, you meld your styles to create the best space possible.  "I would describe my personal style as classic and tailored with an edge, and occasional drift into the bohemian."
